Kelly Ward is the owner of AWARD Choreography. She has has an extensive dance and cheer background. She has successfully choreographed routines for all-star cheer and dance as well as high school and collegiate teams. Kelly choreographs throughout the U.S. and Internationally.  Kelly's routines have won many titles including several D2 Summit Champions, paid bids to the World Championships, and International Championship titles as well.

Kelly began AWARD Choreography in 2012 with a dream to create a team of choreographers who not only thrived as creatives, but also approach kids with kindness and strive to leave long-lasting positive impact on the athletes. 

Prior to launching AWARD, Kelly was a choreographer for V!ROC, V!ROC All-Star, and Premier Choreography. She was both a collegiate cheerleader and dancer at Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She competed in the now Level 7 coed division for many years as well as the International coed Hip Hop division.  As a coach, she took several teams to the Summit, Cheer Worlds, and Dance Worlds and has earned several NCA championship titles.  Kelly also judges in the U.S. and internationally and understands the scoresheets from all perspectives. 

In 2016 Kelly moved to Australia for the cheer season to focus on coaching and choreographing abroad. She values the differences in culture and cheerleading styles and loves to travel internationally to continue to grow. Kelly now focuses primarily on AWARD Choreography but also offers guest coaching throughout the U.S. and Internationally.  Kelly currently resides in San Diego, CA where she also trains and performs in circus and aerial arts.
